Powwow drums

A powwow (also pow-wow or pow wow) is a gathering of North America’s Native people. The word derives from the Narragansett word powwaw, meaning “spiritual leader”. A modern powwow is a specific type of event where both Native American Indian peoples and non-Native Americans meet to dance, sing, socialize, and honor American Indian culture. Native American powwow drums are the central unifying feature of these events.

For each rawhide drum the finest skin is picked to get the deepest, richest tone. One of the main reasons all of our Native American Indian drums are so spectacular is we slow dry them in a cool place to insure long lasting quality for use in various weather conditions. Only the finest rawhide and wooden frame materials are used to ensure the best sound and life of your individualized handmade drum.

Our powwow drums are light weight for carrying on the powwow trail. The frame made of maple hardwood makes our frame the strongest on the market. We also offer powwow drumsticks for sale.
