These 8 sided Drums are very lightweight and would be perfect for a beginner or a child’s first drum. Drums have a cedar frame that are hand-made in our shop, using a tongue and grove joint for strength and sanded down for a finished look covered with Bison, Cow, Deer, or Elk Rawhide and lacing. Not only does it provide a beautiful sound it also displays a unique shape.
Although it can be done, we do not recommend using a thick drum round on our cedar sided frames.
