Drum Care – Putting Bear Grease on your hand drum or powwow drum will lengthen the life of your drum. It will help moisturize the rawhide, preventing cracking and resisting humidity. It is recommended to be done twice a year. A light coat is all you need, do not saturate. Let the Grease set for a few minutes, and wipe off the excess grease. This will keep your drum flexible and vibrant for years to come!
Skin Care – Smoothes and moisturizes the skin. Repairs dry, chapped, cracked skin. It relieves itch, helps heal cuts, minor burns and bug bites. It is also great to use on sunburns and swimmers’ itch.
Eczema– Bear Grease on eczema relieves skin irritation, itching, flaking, and dryness; it aids in the healing and helps fight inflammation, helps moisturize the skin, and regenerates skin cells.
Pain– Amazing pain relief also reduces stiffness and swelling. Great for arthritis, growing pains, headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel, leg and menstrual cramps, muscle stiffness, tendonitis, sore joints and pre/post exercising,
Hair– encourages hair growth and will grow our hair healthier and shiny. It restores hair regrowth to bald spots and prevents baldness. Also used for removing lice.
I just wanted to write and say thank you again for the way our drum has been treated by everyone at Centralia. The buffalo hide that we purchased from you has now been turned into a beautiful 28″ drum. The sound of the drum is truly awesome as well. Thanks to your patient instructions over the phone with me last week we were able to cut the hides and lacing and put it all together with no problems at all. We will highly recommend Centralia Hide and Fur to everyone here in Tennessee and Northern Alabama. I just wanted you to know that everything went well and how much we appreciate your assistance in helping us rebuild our drum. Sincerely, Pat Cummins (Cherokee) Drum Keeper, on behalf of Tanasi Thunder – Southern Style Powwow Drum Nashville, Tennessee
