Furs for sale, hides, custom tanning, Native American made hand drums and drum kits
$8.75 – $115.00
Bitter Root, Lewisia Rediviva, is native to North America. The Root is harvested from a small flowering plant that has a single white or pink flower. The value of this plant is found in the woody roots. The roots of this plant are bitter to the taste and have a high concentration of nutrients. These roots are used to relieve pain, eliminate respiratory irritation, calm nerves, purify skin, detox the body, regulate blood sugar, and settle upset stomachs. If you have never consumed it is advised to start off with small amounts.
How to prepare Bitter Root:
I’ve been building drums for many years and have used many suppliers over that time. When I started offering drum building workshops, I needed to find good quality kits at a reasonable price. Centrailia Fur and Hide provide both. I have been using them exclusively for providing the materials for my workshops for the last few years and expect that to continue into the future. I also use them for supplying many of the things I need for my custom work. Most importantly, I like to support native run businesses whenever I can.
