#1 Whole Elk Hide – Avg. 20 sq. ft. Our highest-quality garment-grade hide with no holes in the center and minimal blemishes.
#1 Half Elk Hide – Avg. 12 sq. ft. Garment-grade quality with no center holes or major blemishes.
#1 Suede Elk Hide – Avg. 20 sq. ft. and weighs 3–4 oz. Graded to the same standards as our #1 hides, with a premium suede side for a rugged, natural look.
#2 Whole Elk Hide – Avg. 20 sq. ft. and is available in 3–4 oz. or 4+ oz. weights. Features a quality grain side but may have holes in the center. Great for bags, gloves, and similar projects.
#2 Half Elk Hide – Avg. 9–11 sq. ft. in 3–3.5 oz. or 4 oz. weights. Quality grain side with center holes. Ideal for bags, gloves, and other leather goods.
#3 Whole Elk Hide – Avg. 20 sq. ft. The suede side is typically in good condition, while the grain side may have scars, drag marks, or other natural flaws.
#3 Half Elk Hide – Avg. 9–11 sq. ft. May require patching for garments, but is an excellent choice for moccasins, bags, chaps, and other leather projects.
